I am still happy with Telus... Got a new phone and my new plan is better than my own as I couldn't bring it with. I now have 11GB data shared between my phone and my daughters, USA, Overseas and Canada unlimited... As someone above said, I thought most plans were unlimited anymore.. Mine have been for years now

They also reduced my internet, and Satellite TV by $10 a month...

So I am still good with them.

Just updated my daughters phone to Apple X, and her plan is grandfathered, so didn't have to change a thing. So still happy with that.

I treat them good, and they treat me fine..

So unfortunate that what was once a great ‘look what deal I got’ thread has turned to ‘bye bye they don’t care about us’ thread. And that’s for all the big three.

Does anyone know the rationale for HF getting rid of the "Look what I got.." thread?

I wasn't too happy with the $10 price increase for the $60/10 GB BYOD plan. So I contacted TELUS support. First time was a bust. Second time, I used this link: https://www.telus.com/en/support/contact-us/escalations

Attempt 1: I was able to get the $70/15 GB plan.
Attempt 2: I was able to get the international texting add-on for free.
Attempt 3: I was able to get the visual voicemail add-on for free. I previously had it at a discounted price ($2 instead of the normal $5).

Forgot about checking this thread sorry

Basically her plan stays at $60, and she has unlimited nationwide calling and messages and then for $45 we have 7GB data to share. So next time we upgrade her phone it will still be the same again.

My husband updated his phone though and in order to get the phone free, a Samsung 9 Note (last November) I had to pay more per month for his plan and can't change it. CAN-US Platinum 110 and 4gb data. But he is happy so that's fine I guess

Going to call soon and see if these guys will match Roger's unlimited data after 10GB , it's just reduced speed after that . No overage charges.

They already removed the old 15gb and 25gb plans and replaced them with unlimited 10gb and 20gb and it throttles with 512kbps speeds.

Wonder why they aren't offering these plans with the US Roaming $15/month more per month. I am not talking about the daily rate....

From what I heard. Bell, Telus and even Freedom were caught off guard from Rogers new unlimited plans. Rogers will have USA plans soon. I'm sure others will follow.

Called them. It's only for new plans. They won't change my 10GB to unlimited. And the new plan doesnt have Norrh America which I have

Bell responded within 24 hours, they were clearly prepared for this. Telus was either stubborn, or caught flat footed - their initial response was slow, and weak; their eventual match was significantly delayed (to the point that the 50GB counter only launched this morning).
