No info yet on the official release. The update for AT&T went live this week via, so hopefully the one for Verizon won't be far behind. Just hope they fix the bugs that are in the leaked version.

Any news on a release date for Jellybean update for the Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3? I've read about leaked updates and related items, but have seen nothing. Is it gonna happen at all, or are we gonna be left in the dust? TIA...

Supposedly, it is rumored to be released at the middle of December.

The K3 ROM will be the released version.
Great news! Thanks for the update!

Just got the update today.
Same here, finally!

Yup! Got mine tonight (12/17)! Downloaded and installed no problem.
Anyone here experience the keyboard being a little laggy when texting after the JB update?
The first thing I'd suspect with a laggy KB is a keylogger. New mobile processors are much too fast to lag something as simple as a keystroke to display action. If it's a virtual keyboard on a touch screen then good chance some app is logging everything you're doing.

I, too, got my Jellybean update yesterday. Interesting thing...I received an email from Samsung today about the "added features" of Jellybean, one of which is a feature called "Blocking Mode." SUPPOSEDLY, you can go into "Settings" and "Blocking Mode" is supposed to be right underneath "Home Screens." However, I do not have the "Blocking Mode" feature. Can someone else check to see if "Blocking Mode" is showing up for them? I'm wondering if Verizon disabled this feature, or if something wonky happened when my phone updated.
Thanks!
Download QuickShortcutMaker and then have it do a search for Blocking.
You will see Blocking Mode listed, and you can make a desktop shortcut for it.
Verizon has it so it's not listed in the main settings on the Note 2 and GS3 with Jelly Bean, but you can still get to it by using this method.
No credit for B?
Vzw didn't actually block it. It just hid it real good.
Thanks so much!![]()
