Over the course of this month I have had many problems with Rogers and them keeping their promises and not making excuses. On October 3rd I was promised by a rep at Rogers customer relations for a plan of $37, i decided to think about it and the next day i called back and another rep told me that it was not available any more 1 day after. I declined her offer and later that night I called again and I was offered a plan at $41.79 that would include 200 minutes unlimited evenings after 6 and weekends, 500mb of data, unlimited text messaging and Caller ID. I accepted this offer and I was told by the rep that he changed my plan, this was October the 4th. On October 25 I noticed that there was something wrong with my "MyRogers" account it said that my bill was $52 a month. This is obviously not what I agreed on. I call back Rogers and they said that on October 4th there were no changes to my account but this is not possible because from the duration of October 4th to the 25th I was able to use data on my phone, so clearly the rep on October 4th made changes to my account. This rep says that he cannot offer me $41.79 but he can offer me a $44 dollar plan basically for the same thing. Not have a choice I went with this plan because they were unwilling to see how this was your representatives mistakes on updating my plan wrong and refused to give me the plan for $41.79. I was promised caller id and mini voice mail on the $44 plan. Few days after I accepted this plan I noticed that Caller ID does not work on my phone neither does voice mail. I call technical support and they say I do not even have caller ID on my account. They transfer me over to relations and I talk with them and they transfer me over to Customer Loyalty. Loyalty says that my plan does include caller ID and they will add it to my account because that is what the previous representative told me they would give me. I agree with it but later that night I receive a email saying that Caller ID and mini voice mail were added to my account for an extra $7. This is unacceptable service your representatives are blowing me off and making false promises to me. I know that Rogers records all their phone calls and that if you were to back track to October 4th or October the 25th it is clear that your representatives are making mistakes. This not only costing me extra money but I am also wasting time every single day calling back Rogers to make sure something has not been left out of my plan or if your representatives say something to me over the phone and they don't write it down on the notes. I am very upset over this kind of behaviour as I have been a loyal customer for more than 10 years. I hope this issue will be resolved and that you can give me back my plan that I agreed to for $41.79.
Sorry I didn't want to retype the whole story but this what happened and i sent this email to rob.bruce (howard forum not letting me post emails...) apparently president of wireless or something like that. So what can i do guys i need help! Rogers won't honour what they give me and they always leave out information on my notes i'm being forced to pay more and more.
I have already made a complaint to the President of the Office but he is yet to contact me at all :C
Best way to deal with this is to drop them. Call up the competition and see what they have to offer.
