Petition to bring support for OTTAWA transit SMS Shortcodes!

How many Ottawa users are on here that would love to see the transit short code supported?!

I've emailed mobilicity before, and they said that it should be coming soon. But now, months later, the response now has no mention of any intention to support it.

Transit short codes are extremely useful to those that are cost conscious (who are likely mobilicity subscribers!)!

    Thanks for reading.
Managed to get Mobilicity to act and improve on 4 items.

ME! Though with Mobi's unlimited calling, I just phone into the automated stop times system.

They may get it, but it'll likely be 10 cents/text to the shortcode like most other cities (WIND now has it in a few cities, but not free, remember those services are not free to the carrier and Wind/Mobi can't afford to eat the text costs like the big three do).

    FIDO $60/10GB + 5 hours unlimited data
WIND $15 AITF unlimited data (10GB full speed)

    Nope. Not in Toronto anyway.
Can't see how they could be pay per use on a prepaid provider? How would Mobi collect?

Just use OC Transpo android app, you can get it from the market, and put up a widget ad it shows the schedule for the day. get the next bus coming by simply looking at your widget which would take you less than a second to see it. texting the next bus coming would take longer for you. and calling the bus stop next bus coming takes way to long and annoying and frustrating sitting there for that long to go threw the whole call.

lol i may give android another chance soon. but does mobilicity not care about people who have blackberries? or androids without a data plan? or people with dumbphones?

even then, i find the sms short code method to be more efficient than using an app...
