    Droid 3 to alltel

    Been trying to get a d3 working on alltel. Voice and text work fine but of course the kickers are mms and data. Anyone have the proper apn?

    Would Alltel even be able to activate a Droid in their new technical systems that are completely untied from Verizon?

    Yes, they can activate just about every CDMA device. But YMMV depending on the tech you get. A lot of independents I know will help you out if you stop by their place and are in good with them. I've had several "Verizon" phones on Alltel (the ATNI owned variety).
