Question Suggest replacement for Nokia 5310b - not on contract - NO smart phones wanted

I'm currently off contract (month-to-month) with AT&T. I have a Nokia 5310b originally from Rogers that I unlocked and upgraded.

The Nokia 5310b currently turns itself on and off at random. I bought it on Ebay a few years ago and got my money's worth out of it.

I want to replace the Nokia 5310b with a NON-smart phone. I plan to buy from a third party or on Ebay. A Nokia as a replacement is OK (go ahead and laugh) but another manufacturer is OK too.

    My needs:
    Must have:
    No contract with AT&T
Contact list at least as big as the Nokia 5310
Calendar with options equivalent to Nokia 5310
Easy to transfer contact list and calendar to new phone
Media player (MP3 a must; WMA a plus)

    Nice to have:
Physical cord connection to my laptop
    Earphone connector
    External memory card
(I currently have a 2GB card installed and it's 90% full; I have no storage needs beyond that.)
    Camera
    Bluetooth

    Specifically don't want/need:
    Internet access
Text messaging (I have the text messaging service turned off on my AT&T account.)

    Any suggestions?

Try doing an internet search for Nokia phones on ebay first and foremost. After you have found a device you might be interested, try doing a product search at phonescoop.com to confirm the device specifications and/or post your findings here on HOFO.

Finding devices without internet access or text messaging will be difficult. The trick is to find a phone never carried by At&t and won't be recognized by their billing system.

If you want to go old school, there are a lot of used flip phones with cameras out there that do texting and connect via USB to a PC for picture transfer.

Check into some of the older Motorola phones.

I've already done a search on phonescoop. There are literally dozens of phones that meet my criteria.

What I am hoping for from HoFo members is recommendations or suggestions for "old-school" phones (specifically for the AT&T network) that they used AND recommended to their friends "back in the day".

I've heard great things about the Moto flip-phones from that era so they are on my short list.

I'd appreciate any specific suggestions that meet my "must have" criteria.

I liked the RAZR and the PEBL myself. But they won't play music. Perhaps one of the later ones added that.

You might like the Nokia C2-01. Amazon sells them unlocked.

    http://www.nokia.com/us-en/products/phone/c2-01/

This is the descendant of all original Nokia phones.... great battery life, not a smartphone, but it does have 3G for AT&T's frequencies for voice, etc. (If AT&T ever ditches 2G, this phone will still work for voice and data.)
