Yep only B12 can be broadcasted, hense why it's still 5MHz in rural areas as B17 is needed for older devices.

Correct. But in that case they were broadcasting B12 5 MHz + B12 5 MHz, so technically one could be B12/B17

What happened to their “boost and densify” strategy? Same ‘ol Rogers.

To be fair, that's on a 5 MHz channel with negative SNR!
At least is shows the robustness of LTE, relative to UMTS. Even in such atrocious signal conditions at cell edge, you can have usable service (for basic web browsing). You wouldn't even be able to load a Google web page on 3G with that kind of a signal.

If every Rogers customer wasn't on EXT then I wouldn't have even been able to run a test....Red circle shows where I was...that nearby Rogers site is maybe 100ft compared to the Belus site being 300ft...

Nice site density from Bell. Terrible density from Rogers. Big Red’s coverage in Belleville/Picton has always been awful.

Speeds aren't half bad. Latency is high for being downtown.

The Latency is always horrible. I can get up 200MBPS on a good day but the latency will always be ridiculous here

I'll be sure to post a test or 2 when I hit northern Ontario in a couple weeks - from both Bellus and Rogers.
Note: Latency will be high, as data is proxied back to T-Mobile for me... but since I have unlimited data/roaming WTH.
    AT&T... your world, throttled.
