Adapter to connect Retro Handset to Samsung Impression

I want to connect a Moshi Moshi retro handset to my Samsung Impression phone. I bought an adapter for that, but even though the connectors are right, it turns out that I can hear the caller but the caller cannot hear me...this adapter transfers only output - like when you listen to music from your phone through earphones.
So I know I need an adapter that transfers both input and output- but I cannot find it anywhere. Can anyone help?

Retro Moshi Mosh handset has a 3.5mm pin and Samsung A877 does not have an entry for that.
So I had to buy an adapter and I got this one: http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Headph.../dp/B002AP8FYG
This kind of adapter connects my Samsung to the handset, however, during phone call, even though I can hear the caller - the caller cannot hear me. This is because this adapter transfers only output from cell phone - and not input. So my question is: does anyone know what kind of adapter would transfer both output and input?
