UMA International Calling Still Alive?

We got the T-Mobile UMA add-on as part of a grandfathered family plan when it first came out a few years ago. We still pay $10 extra for unlimted family UMA calling. We haven't traveled internationally for a few years now, but when we did we were able to successfully send and recieve UMA phone calls to/from the USA while in the Netherlands with no additional charges.
My daughter has been using my old Blackberry 8330 and will shortly be traveling to Israel for a few months. Is this "loophole" still working or will T-Mobile start charging international rates if she is in Israel and texts / calls us in the US while on a UMA connection.

UMA calls are billed the same whether you are in Idaho or Israel.
Make sure she has all data slurping apps turned off. On her BB, under Manage Connections -Mobile Network ---uncheck Mobile Network so she doesn't accidentally connect to a cell tower when placing a call. Or using data.
Remember - she can't dial Israeli numbers w.o. huge charges unless she routes them via Google Voice or something similar. One or 2 cents/min to landlines. Forget cost to mobile.
GoogleVoice (domestic call forwarding and cheap intl. calls) Use GV to give us a "home" number in a 2nd location
8 T-Mobile lines - Unlimited talk and text, data. TM One plan. Get $10/mo. rebate on 7 lines for low data use. Net cost about $185-190/mo. We haven't had a landline in more than 17 years.

If you can live off the minutes on your plan and give up the unlimited calling, you don't need to pay for the unlimited wifi feature. You can still use the feature itself.

I pay the extra $9.99 for UMA calling on my old "Pref 600 FT" plan with myFave for $49.99. After my discount before taxes I pay $51.58 and between the wifi calling/myFave we use about 4,000 peak minutes each month between 5 lines.

atlomst half year ago T-mobile set UMA free for all T-mobile subscribers.

When I tried to get UMA calling for free I was told that I could not get it because I had an old grandfathered plan.

Same here when I called CS about it too. They told me that the only way to get free UMA calling was to switch my plan. No thanks, I like having myFave.

you do not need to call, it is just free wifi call, no need to add on. free call for everyone.

I got free wifi added to all my grandfathered lines... Yes they all have my faves. I think the retentions guy did it for me, but it took like ten minutes on hold to get it done. He had to do it separately for each line in my family plan, according to the rep.
