Upgrade coming up, anything worth waiting for on AT&T?

Due for an upgrade, anything worth waiting another month or two for? I haven't seen many phones lined up with Android for AT&T since all the hype of the Atrix.

I am in the same boat as you. I would like to see the Samsung Galaxy SII. I still don't know if AT&T will be getting or not. Sounds like a nice phone.

Galaxy s 2 has a 21mbps radio in it. If it's gps is functional, I'll buy it unlocked even.

I have never had an unlocked phone. It would be nice to have a phone absent of bloatware, and not having to wait for a carrier to provide updates. Is there a savings in the long term for an unlocked phone compared to phone on a AT&T plan?

Unlocked simply means you can use it on other carriers, like in Europe for example.

I'm going right for the galaxy s2 which just came out and works with att 3g, 21mbps. By far the best option right now, but expensive.

Expansys lists the S2 for sale for $749. That's a little out of my reach.

The Samsung Infuse and LG Thrill have caught my eye. Anyone seen any potential release dates for these two?

I'm waiting for the SGS II. I have a ton of upgrades, but the Atrix and the Inspire were both no-gos due to lack of dev support (on the Atrix because of the locked bootloader). I love my Captivate for now, especially since GB has been out for about a week now for it.

The SGS II will blow everything else out of the water when it comes to the US.

I'm buying it from handtec in the UK for 744 dollars. Expensive but I feel like treating myself after sticking with the n1 for so long. They give cheap next day shipping too which is nice.
