Anybody buy a W385 refurb from PagePlus - how is the quality of their refurbs? Do they replace the case? What do they include with it?

Bought five of them recently and they all went back. Garbage. Battery covers wouldn't stay on and batteries wouldn't hold a charge. Also puchased a VX8300 that was also garbage. Last year puchased an e815 that went back within the first week when it couldn't find a signal sitting next to a tower.

Never again will I buy a phone from them.

I have always used Craigslist or Hoosier Topics (a local online classified). I find that the phones are cheaper if you have patience and are not too selective about which phone you want. Low level phones are often $20-$30 dollars, and I found my new Droid X for $150 last year. Just found a lg Ally mint for $70. Of course any Verizon phone will work with talk and text (except pre-paid).

It's a good thing I asked here. I was about to order a W385 from them.

Wife's recently retired W385 was from fleabay and we were happy with it. If you're patient you can find one from there in like new lightly used condition like we did.

I recently ordered a W385 from Ebay. It was a PP branded phone in a PP box. I don't know if these are new or refurbs. in a box to look new. The phone looks brand new, had it over a month with zero problems.

Well then, I guess it's a question of "do you feel lucky?".
