    root and warranty, G2, tmo

does rooting your G2, bought brand new from tmobile, void the warranty? anyone here happen to have to exchange theirs and they were rooted? any problems?

if your device wont even power on, they wont know if its rooted anyways correct?

if your device does power on, but something fails such as a button, keyboard, etc and unrooting is still possible, is it something that needs to be done or does it not matter?

People have sent in rooted devices with them not making a fuss about it, sending your phone to HTC directly in that state will result in a denied claim usually
