Is the G2 an upgrade from the Samsung Vibrant?

I'm currently using a Vibrant on T-Mo. Is the G2 (or any T-Mo Android phone, for that matter) an upgrade from the Vibrant?

    Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 2.2; en-ca; HTC-A7275 Build/FRF91) AppleWebKit/533.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/533.1)

Well the vibrant has a nicer screen...the g2 officially has android 2.2 and a qwerty keyboard if that matters to you. I would say they are about even though I prefer the g2.

I wouldn't say better, I have both. The vibrant is more of a show-off phone. People love the screen, and the iphone like look. The G2 is more solid, and better designed. Both are really fast, but the vibrant does have it's freezing problems from time to time. Leaving the vibrant in stock form, you won't know if you have a missed call or message unless the screen is always on, whereas on the G2 the ring around the trackpad will light up. Fixing typo errors on the vibrant can be frustrating since there is no trackpad/trackball. The G2 has a better battery life. I really can't tell any difference in data speeds even though the G2 is supposed to be faster. Speed tests vs. real world usage tells a different story.

If I told I could only keep on, I would keep the G2.

I had both devices and went with the G2 over the vibrant. The only advantages the vibrant had was the SA screen and screen size. G2 has better build quality, better call quality, seems faster for everyday usage, GPS works way better, no lag issues and has a qwerty keyboard (needed on a 3.7 inch screen).

I've had no problems with the voice quality. I can hear, and people can hear me just fine.

I can hear fine on mine. I wish that the ringer was louder.
