Cool SMS Delivery Reports - Has anyone got them working?

    Hey,

So I've spent quite a bit of time attempting to get SMS delivery reports working using my iPhone on Bell service, but still no luck!

Is this even possible on their network? I believe they use a different type of network then most. HSPA+

I'm using a jailbroken iPhone using biteSMS which allows for a plugin called iPhoneDelivery, however this doesn't seem to work so I researched a little into GSM codes, prefixes and such.

Here's a similar thread but not on the Bell side of things > See Here

I've tried using both the 1's and the code *!# , but still no luck.

Can anyone help?! Much appreciated, thanks.

I've got a Nokia 2730 classic, and it has message reports built into the firmware. I've tried everything with it, but I have yet to get it to work correctly. I've tried it with the Bell firmware, and with generic firmware, but neither work... I have yet to figure out why, so if you figure it out, i'd love to hear.

On my BlackBerry Torch I just enable Delivery Report and then I get the 'D' beside my messages (like in BBM) once the message has been delivered. I'm not sure if the iPhone has a similar option.

I just switched to bell from telus after 24 years and I'm not getting sms delivery reports. Is this feature not active on the Bell network?????

I think most people these days disable the send confirmation back
    Koodo $40 Canada Wide + 8GB + 1000 Intl LD
    Public $120 Province Wide + 12GB - $6 Autopay - $12 Loyalty - $45 Refer = $19 per Month
    Freedom $35 ($37-BTS) North America Wide + 8GB + 1GB Roaming

I'm wondering the same thing. I just switched from Koodo where I would get SMS delivery reports, but I am not receiving them from Bell. I swapped SIM cards with my old and new phones, and have ruled out the devices - it’s definitely the network. Strangely enough, I do get sent/delivered timestamps on INCOMING SMS/MMS messages.

As Koodo uses the Bell/Telus network, I find this rather odd.
