Can't send text, need some help!

I received a text just now from a friend and when I tried to respond, my XT720 keeps saying Message cannot be sent.

I'm around 16th and Leslie, and data and voice are fine, just not text.

    EDIT:
Apparently, my SMSC number is wrong, can someone using Android look it up for me?

    Here's the instructions:
    http://www.honeytechblog.com/update-...msung-galaxys/

    1) Dial from keypad *#*#4636#*#*
    2) Choose "Phone information"
    3) Scroll all the way down to the blank field
    4) Click Refresh
    5) The empty field should now reveal Mobilicity's SMSC number

    Thank you!

+16478000106 (not sure if the 1 is required as I grabbed the number from my nokia)

if your going to add it via *#*#4636#*#* you will have to convert the number.

Nope, I just entered the number as it is into the field and it worked.

    Thanks!

I lied, it worked in the sense that I can send text again, but sometimes, it still doesn't actually get sent out and the msg "Message not sent" appears

I had the same problem with my Samsung Vibrant. I used sensiie's second link and converted +16478000106 to Octal-Hexadecimal format which becomes 07916174080001F6. Entered this and pressed Update and it saved without error. Rebooted and everthing is working.

Thanks for the awesome info! Playing around with Froyo updates on Vibrant and the Mobilicity SMS settings get blown away with no easy options to put it back in since the developers concentrate on TMo settings...

I enter 07916174080001F6 into my SMSC field, press update and then press refresh. It becomes 0791617408000166

Strange. I just checked my phone and it still shows F6 at the end.
