    Hiring Steps at Bell Mob?

    Hi,

I did apply for a job at Bell, had the phone interview then in person.

I was told that they would call me back soon if I passed or send an email if I failed...

But I think that if I've done good they would have told me right away...

    Any input?

    thanks

Never seen or heard of a phone interview. Normally they do normal personal interview (I have seen between 1 & 3 times depending on job) after which they email you a web test (psychology) then after that make you sign the consent form (the normal stuff like criminal & background checks I understood; the request for my credit report I had a big issue with and argued about) and ask you to read the policy docs.
It is sad I need to state the obvious but some people just don't get it. Any posts I make are my own OPINIONS and in no way represent the views of my employer

Hmm maybe phone interview is to skip 1st interview? No idea since noone I know (call centres or salaried jobs) has ever said that though

I had 1 phone interview and 1 in person, so perhaps.

I find no matter companies say is their timeline to tell you whether you made it to the next step, they are almost slower in reality. Just the nature of hiring. They almost never tell you right away.

This point I will strongly disagree with
One thing Bell has been is lightning fast in its hiring processes

Job 1 I was a walk in off the street and everything was completed within a week
Job 2 I was "encouraged" by management to apply for (which I think means they had already decided before the fact) because I swear I emailed the resume and had a call within the hour asking if I was free to do the interviews
Job 3 I applied and had position within 72 hours

My wife was the same (walk in off the street, hired within the week)

    job

i had a phone interview and an in person interview
store manager called me in for a 2nd interview
but it was really to tell me that i was hired
there was no such thing as a 2nd interview
    that time.

i was hired by a francise location and not a corporate store.

    Franchise has their own rules.

    Wirelessly posted (SAMSUNG-SGH-T746/T746BMJB3 SHP/VPP/R5 NetFront/3.5 SMM-MMS/1.2.0 profile/MIDP-2.1 configuration/CLDC-1.1)

first time i worked for bell it was thru aplacement agency i had a phone interview then got a live first interview with all the security stuff and then after that i got a real interview at the calling center with people from bell then they called me back and hired me. Might be what happened to you.
