    Best N900 Resources

    Hey all,

I picked up an N900 for a good deal, and will be interested to have fun tweaking the phone. What are the best recommended places to check out the different things I can do with it?

    Thanks!

Maemo.org is the place, but a lot of what you learn will be through trial and error.

    What he^ said...

Start out by going >> HERE << for your apps. When you become comfortable with this you may want a little more adventure. Familiarize yourself with the re-flashing procedure outlined in this forums sticky then visit some of the other sites mentioned in this thread.

Know what any of the apps found on these other sites is going to do and how it will be installed before you install it. Ask questions of the developers or the persons hosting the app for download and stay away from those that only offer vague or very general answers.

I guess you are talking about the applications you can use on Nokia N900. The one which i personally admire is Conky.
It allows you to check what application is eating up all your system resources. Or maybe want to quickly check exactly how much space your device has left without having to crack open a terminal? Conky is your one stop application for all system monitoring related tasks.
I hope you would love this.

You guys rock, thank you very much for all the recommendations. I should have the phone next week some time and I'm excited to play.
