Palm Pre Plus Unlocking/Flash

need advice on unlocking/flashing to cricket.. Also was thinking of using on straight talk.. Would i need to unlock it? What if it has a bad ESN?? Thanks alot for ur help

The unlocking comes w/ the flashing. My Pre' had a "bad" ESN & I got a full flash. The only con is it webOS 1.3.1 & to be able to use preware and filecoaster you gotta have at least 1.4. I am still able to use webOS Quickinstall and preform tweaks. My full flash (talk, sms, mms, web) cost me $45 & took a week. Hope this helps

Hey mannie does YouTube work on your pre? Cus I seen some people say that they can fully flash it with YouTube and appscatalog working. Do you think it's true?

The Youtube app works. It's just that cricKet caps your speed so most times the video don't load. You gotta use wifi. Or get the download patch.
