My family switched from using androids - Nexus and HTC phones to the iPhone 5s and love it. My daughter was thinking about the Samsung S4 but after hands on in the store she was not impressed. It's junk compared to the iPhone and the apps are lacking.

I have an iPhone and my wife has a Nexus 4. I have used both, and although the iPhone is a much more polished experience and does not have the possibility of having apps that are malware, the Nexus 4 is a capable phone and she loves it.

How do you know there's no malware for iPhone? There is, but you aren't shown what they can access.

Actually reports from AV researchers showed that 97% of malware is for android. iOS has less than 1%. Feel free to Google the studies. Reports were on BGR and GSM arena very recently.

Yes, but I meant the permissions of the apps you'd think were "safe". Odds are no one's looking, but you never know when they will.

I'm tempted by the HTC One, but iPhone is also a big possibility.

I will probably next get a Sony Xperia Z version with SD, a BlackBerry z10 when the price comes down again, and next year's Nexus or Moto X2

None. I like my nokia 700 as it is pentaband and has 3.5G(HSPA+). Most current phones are not pentaband. There are a few like the nexus line and the nokia 521 but most are not.

I hate android. iPhones are too expensive non subsidies.

I will probably be buying a Nokia Lumia next. Either the 520 or 925. Depending on what I can do mid contract with att (if they let me use Next I may take advantage of that).

why? I don't get it. The idea of a mobile device used to be, that it is handy and fits in your pocket^^ with a samsung note you need an extra bag to carry it...same goes for tablets..
