    Sanyo Incognito USB Connection

    Hello,

I have recently purchased a Sanyo Incognito and would like to connect it to my PC so that I may browse its file system. I used a micro USB cable to do so, but am presented with a driver issue -- none available for Windows 7 32bit.

I've read other forum posts suggesting that this can be achieved by selecting Settings->Memory->Connect to PC, but this only works with a micro SD card present -- which I don't have.

How may I go about connecting the phone to my PC and where may I locate the required drivers? This may lead to a PAM discussion, but I am not interested in enabling that feature.

According to this post, it turns out that the SCP-2700 drivers are compatible with this phone. I've verified that the drivers attached to the given post work on Windows XP 32bit, and by using them, I was able to transfer some photos using BitPim.

No luck with browisng the file system yet, as I have to do some more tweeking since the SCP-6760 is not officially supported by BitPim.

    W7, Android 2.2

Better late than never.. Hi... incidently, I am composing this using Opera Mini browser on my Sanyo Incognito.. I have experienced complete USB Connection and file browse* on both windows 7 and my android notebook on the first time I connected to them... (I'm seeking info on using phone as modem...bet driver is found at kyocera.com kyocera/sanyo) Your sync cable. Upon connecting to PC incognito ask Connect to PC. Airplane Mode is utilized when connecting to PC. It's faster if you ativate Airplane Mode first. I've always found so far with every phone is that usb SYNC cables and usb CHARGING cables are identical. I collect all usb cables determine their use and tag them sync or chrg.. or buy known sync cable from amazon lol I *even more File Manager file depth and copy/paste of files using UC Browser8..even if the online browsing part of it seems incompatable.
