    Blackberry bold 9000 Firmware

I was wondering what vendor has the latest firmware for the blackberry bold 9000? I am currently using the azerus one as I was told it is the latest version. Has there been a more recent release?

The version that I have is v5.0.0.592 (Bundle 1004, Platform 5.2.0.57)

BlackBerry Forums always has the latest firmware versions for all BBs.

Latest for 9000 is 5.0.0.681 from Optus

However, if you are not having any problems with your current version, you don't have to upgrade. If it works, don't fix it

I'm using the Optus OS. I found 592 was nothing but problems on my phone. 681 is working great for me, but yeah...if it ain't broke...you know the rest.

This is why RIM "Lost Me" as a good customer. I'm currently putting up with my 2 year old Bold 9000 which should have shipped with a good OS. I _was_ (past tense) a huge RIM supporter, but after the fiasco with all the leaked OS's, all the hours wasted as I tried each that was released, I'm done with them. When my BB 900 dies, so long RIM.

In fact I'm so disgusted with them that my primary smartphone is currently an iPhone 3GS. Yet I do miss the qwerty keyboard for the huge volume of emails I get. So I've relegated the BB for that, until it dies.

Stick with 592. For me, 681 has lower earpiece volume, and takes a longer time to regain signal after losing it (e.g. in a tunnel, elevator, or underground).
