The site east of Deckerville had B2 turned up last week. Not sure about the others.

No B14 there yet. Could be in pre-turn up testing, but nothing is live yet.

Ah ok. I just told the person that gave me the info that it was incorrect. He heard it from an "Engineer" up in the Traverse City area. I imagine they will be upgrading those towers this year but so far I haven't seen any F/N panel upgrades in northern MI.

Most of the launches seem to be in the Detroit area. B14 is fairly dense there. More carriers are launched almost daily, though, so it’s just a better of time before it’s everywhere.

Does b14 require new equipment in most places or is it just a matter of turning it up?

It means new equipment - new antennas and radios. Lots of work is needed to launch B14. There’s also the issue of Passive Intermodulation (PIM) cleanup that needs to be done on every B14 site, due to how close B14 and B17 are in the spectrum. Makes for lots of UL noise that has to be cleaned up.

Makes sense, luckily the Thumb doesn't have that problem.

Does anyone know of AT&T's progress with turning up "5GE" in markets outside Detroit?

Also, the PCI indicates that this is from the site just east of Millington. It was a B2 LTE only site along that line through the middle of the Thumb where they are only running LTE on PCS. This is very cool.

B14 has appeared around Grayling. Couldn't find the site so it may be inside the base.
