Is there any way I can save a download instead of installing it?

I am trying to save this app:

    Bell Media Player

Which can be installed via this URL:

    bellmediaplayer.quickplay.ca/downloadmgr/app.down

I can access this URL on my Tour, but not on my Bold 9000.

I would like to be able to save the ALX or JAR/JAD file instead of jumping right to the install step.

Any clues on how I can do this?

Is there a "temp" directory where the installation files are saved between the download and install steps?

    TIA!
