    Rhapsody player coming to Droid

.Some might have seen / read were the Droid might be getting "Rhapsody Player", like the PC ver. From Real.com.
As I have been one selected to do a Pre Release testing on it I must say it would be by far the best player available. It would automaticaly sync thru your Real accnt. , providing you have one, you'll find all your music on it as on your PC ver. It also has a very good Radio set up by a large selection catorgized by Genus. You can set favorites, Playists, etc. Search, via Song, Artist, Album, which you can purchase and download any of them. Even see other Songs and Albums from the artist your playing or found from search as well as a quick search for related music via all mentioned Artist catagory. Of course you can set for Shuffle, Repeat (all), (no E.Q. ,yet). Much better player and set up then VCAST Music. (Pardon if I'm forgeting any other features) No release date yet. Oh, you can run Rhapsody and other apps. Simultaneously as well.

    Rhapsody player coming to Droid

.Though I was more then happy to get the early word out, we received memo's this morning that Real inc. Does Not want us to mention anyting about it, unlike most other software / product developers. We were even preparing a video on it for our Review section. But to "answer" your question, to a degree, it's expected to have a Radio with a large selection, better then PC ver. Though has a low sound qualiy (much like other apps & general device output), but since most people use "poor quality" headphones & most likely have never heard real high fidelity audio & not even notice the difference if Rhapsody streamed at a higher bit rate. Will be able to listen via Direct audio connection (3.5 mm plug), B.T., connected to cardock & vehicles sound input jack (no car mode though; ?), Not yet known if a "to go" compatible set up or Full Live. Unfortunatly has a long connecting time, no voice controls, continues to play after D/C from audio output devices. All perhaps comon bugs as other apps., though plans to be addressed. However does work well while using other programs, said to be cleaner then PC ver. Not yet known if will be Droids default player or just another Market app., Is also being tested on other OS's, I.E. WinMo as well as other carriers, I.E. T-Moble (G1, Nexous One), Sync's well w/ PC's, account wise too of course ! *Wish could provide more.
