Already got to play around with one last week. I like the external touch screen feature and the phone is very similar to the original with a few new features. Plus this phone can be activated on legacy plans (doesn't not require a simply everything plan) which is key for me.

I am trying something new, not watermarking them. You all know who got them first and if/when a site steals them we all know what happened.

    Manual coming later.

The one I saw was also red. I hope it comes in black or some other color as I'm not a big fan of red.

    Hi guys,

Thanks for the post, I had no idea a new Lotus was coming - I was just looking at the old one. Question, by 'legacy plan' you mean it'll be available on my SERO $30/mo plan? Also, any word on the release date?

    Thanks!

I am interested in either the elite or the rumor touch, finally a "dumbphone" with a touch screen and 3G, lets see if it can be done on old sero or not. Oh yeah, I noticed it hasnt been posted, the release date for the elite is the 12th

Just spec'ing "touch screen" isn't very telling IMHO. There's a huge gap between what the "touch screen" allows between, say, an Incognito and an Instinct, nevermind an iPhone or Hero. Personally I find the touch screen on the Incognito to be worse than useless. So I'm hoping that the touch screen on the Lotus Elite, and certainly on the Rumor Touch is more akin to the functionality of the Instinct than the Incognito...
