TOP 5 Apps, list them here!!

Hey all, I'm just wondering what apps you have, and which ones you think are the most useful/best apps to have. Please list them, and why, as well as what they do!

Well I just got my 9700 yesterday. I've been using Pandora, Facebook, Google Maps, and AP News mostly. I don't have the money to spare yet on $$ apps until tomorow :P
Just the freebies for right now, I haven't played with a lot of others.

TetherBerry - Use your phone as a modem without paying your carrier to tether... A bit of a taboo subject around the forums though...

MeterBerry - Shows device stats; battery voltage, discharge rate, charge percentage, etc...

QuickLaunch - Basically, a start menu for your phone

Pandora Radio - Streaming internet radio

Documents to Go - View/edit Excel, Word, PPT and view .pdf's on your 'Berry

I have many more, I've dropped more in apps for my 9700 than I paid for the phone itself... :P

as far as tetherberry goes, 2 minutes of google searching will save you fifty bucks. you can change the settings and add drivers to your computer without paying a dime. the way i do it (which is almost never because i have DSL at home) is by enabling a connection between my bb and pc thru desktop manager, and setting my pc to see the bb as a modem. like I said, google is your friend.

i haven't attempted thru bluetooth. i was under the imression that bluetooth was a slow connection anyways. back when i had windows mobile phones, there was a freeware called wmwifirouter which useed my tilt's data connection and turned my phone into a wifi hotspot i could surf on my laptop thru. i haven't found this on blackberry yet. in fact, there's not nearly as much good freeware on the blackberry.

These are 5 good ones that I recommend

    1. Poynt
All in one local search for people, business, maps, movie tickets and more.
    2. Opera Mini
Offers a better mobile internet experience on your Blackberry.
    3. The Weather Network
Have the forecast right on your phone with access to current and long term forecast both local and international.
    4. Viigo
Offers access to RSS feeds for news, sports, weather, Facebook and more.
    5. Google Maps
Easier to use than Blackberry Maps I find. Offers Google Latitude as well.

Whaaa? A hardcore messaging device and no one has said anything about social networking?

I use SocialScope and the Facebook app (for notifications mainly). UberTwitter is pretty cool too. Don't forget your messengers; Google Talk, Windows Live, Yahoo, AIM are all available from Appworld, or hell... http://mobile.blackberry.com.
