Seriously...Paying $65 a month for 10meg download and 500 up and I get this **** everyday...
I can't even load their website to call them again! On top of this, phone service is Vonage, and you can't hear anything since the internet lags so much.
I get faster speeds on AT&T's 3G Network!!!
Their support is useless..saying that it is "normal" during peek hours..
I would love to switch, but guess what, they are the only cable company in town (Greensboro, NC)
Here is TWC's **** speeds
Here is AT&T's 3G speeds..Same time, etc

I have turbo as well..not sure if it's 10 or 15 dl. Either way twc sucks
My internet with Time Warner here in Wisconsin is always great, it's the cable service (especially when it comes to HD and cable cards) that I have a huge issue with.
are you runnin a torrent client? i noticed the same thing on mine. i wasnt even downloading or uploading anything, just had torrent running in the background
when i turned it off, it jumped back to the advertised 7Mbps within like 2 minutes
like i said i only had the program running, no torrents loaded
@OP
Threaten to cancel or switch. At least drop to the lowest tier speed possible. $65 for internet only is ridiculous.
I think you live in a uverse area? Switch to that.
That's the benefit of cable. I have DSL and I rarely see the speeds below 5mbps, and that's exactly what I pay for. Not as fast as cable, but always consistent. 10mbps soon too for $5 more.
Bye!
Depends on the area. Paid for 16Mb/10Mb cable and got that speed for under $30.Originally Posted by iFone3G
Yeah it does depend, but if you have a lot of users online in your area you're not going to get very good speeds. Same goes for DSL, if you're far away from the office your speeds will suffer but other people being online won't effect your internetss
Hey guys no torrent client of any sort...
I really want u-verse but it's not offered here in Greensboro. Like I said TWC is the only cable company here. It's either them or dsl. On top of that we are getting 40GB caps soon too!
Even 1.5Mb dryloop DSL from ATT has to be less than $65. That is the speeds you are getting now.Originally Posted by mateen110
