Opera Mini 5 Beta out now

I just downloaded it for my 9630 and so far it is awesome. For a list of details, check out http://www.opera.com/mini/next/ The highlights are tabbed browsing, password manager, and "speed dial," a safari/chrome like home screen for your bookmarks with website previews.

    OTA download:

i love it so far for my BB Storm! Only 3 little downfalls so far...wont open video's like in m.youtube.com, cant get it to close a tab when hitting the X, and flick scrolling could be a little bit better. Other than those 3 for me it is amazingly fast and love how you can have a virtual keyboard pop up and not have to use the Storm's "click"

It's incredibly slow on the Curve. But still pretty awesome.

I wasn't a big fan of Opera last time I tried it, but really like this version the few minutes I've used it so far.

Has anyone figured out a way to paste? I was hoping to copy the URLs from my existing bookmarks and paste them into Opera, but I can't find an option to paste. I don't get an additional menu when I click on the Blackberry button.

Hold down the trackball until a contextual menu comes up?

Tell me more about this virtual KB? Is it part of Opera? Is it easy to use? Is it responsive? I hear that the click can be a pita to use.

Do you think thye will get youtube to work soon? I don't own a BB (yet) so please forgive the noob question: does youtube work with the standard browser on the storm?

It looks exactly like an iPhone/iTouch keyboard, which I am sure is not a coincidence. It is part of the Opera application. Opera does not use use the "press the key" behavior that is native to the Storm; it is touch just like on the iPhone.

Does anyone else notice a pulsating/wavey distortion to the screen when loading up Opera Mini 5? I'm worried that there is something wrong with my screen.

Beta 5 runs terrible on the Curve. Very slow from starting the APP, to browsing the web. I really home this isn't the same once the final release comes out.

one annoying thing i found on the storm is that if you type an incorrect character it deletes the whole thing. (as if you were holding it down) very annoying

    Wirelessly posted (BB Tour 9630: BlackBerry9630/5.0.0.230 Profile/MIDP-2.1 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/126)

Yes it has a glitch when typing in a text box where when you hit delete it deletes everything. To stop it you can press another key such as the space bar. It's really annoying though. I also couldn't figure out the copy/paste. I eventually deleted it because I hated how it changed itself to my default browser. Every time I would click a link from an email it would open Opera 5. And the worst part is that it wouldn't even load the page. I can live with 4.2 until an official release of 5 comes out.
