    New update for BB Curve

I received a text from Alltel about a new BB update. I don't like installing these things till I know what it's about and it's not going to screw up my phone, which is working just fine. Anybody have any info on this update?

It's to fix various software functions and correct a System Scanning issue.

It is safe I have done it to mine and it still works just fine.

I've not noticed any bad issues with my install, and maybe just a fluke because I read it should improve battery life (the scanning fix) but my battery life over the last 48 hours seems to be better...
