    Question CECT i9 Videotron

    Hi,

I just bought a CECT i9+ phone. I have a problem with the SIMM card. I have the message "Invalid Simm". The phone suppose to be unlocked. My provider is Videotron.

    Any idea?

    Thank you.

No idea other than the phone not being unlocked which I would find strange since all of the CECT phones that I've seen have been unlocked.

Have you tried borrowing someone's Rogers or Fido SIM on your phone?

Since neither of these companies sell the CECT phones, it will give you an idea of whether the phone is actually locked or not.
