I installed Mundu on my Dash 3G:
    http://mundu.com/products/mundu-radio/features

I dont think it has as many stations as ShoutCast, but it is free, and it seems well behaved on WM devices.

this app won't work on a Jack...sadly...i don't think there's any app out there (other than the XM Radio you have to pay for) that works on this phone...

well, i tried GSPlayer and it looks as though it only plays what's on my phone. i have WMPlayer for that...how do i get it to stream? i had already tried TCPMP and it messed my phone up, i lost all sound and had to delete it...i'm really trying to avoid paying monthly for XM but it's looking as though that might be my only option...ideas?

What specifically is it you're trying to play a stream of? I know of tons of workarounds.
    I left NEXTEL because:
    1) Gary Forsee for single-handedly killing the mighty NEXTEL
    2) Paul Saleh for coughing up the money for Gary's BIG ideas of grandeur from the NEXTEL cash cow
    3) Timmy Donahue for taking his golden parachute and leaving post-merger when we needed him most
    4) Barry West for regressing iDEN backwards 10 years by killing 6:1 and WiDEN development
    5) Dan Hesse for practicing apathy over sympathy, then prolonging the pain

    Best solution I've found that's:

    1) FREE
    2) Works with WMP
    3) Hassle free
    4) Nothing to download

    Thestreamcenter dot com

Hundreds of streaming radio stations from all 50 states.

I use it on my Dash 3G every morning at the gym and it works great!

It's not free but it is the best, either:

    CorePlayer $30

    or

    Kinoma $30

If you stream a lot then get either or programs as they are worth it!

You just go to shoutcast.com and touch the "tune-in" icon:

and either CorePlayer or Kinoma will play the stream. Either program streams every audio and most video formats except Flash.
