    MT3G Tips & Tricks

    Shouldnt we have this by now ?

    1st tip: Reboot: "End key + Call key + Menu"

    2nd: Android Power Saver Mode
    -------------------------
    1. Screen Brightness 10%-15%
    2. WiFi = OFF
    3. GPS = OFF
    4. Auto-sync = OFF
    5. Background Data Usage = OFF
    6. Use only 2G Networks = YES

    From the Home screen, long press on the Menu key, and a keyboard will pop up.

    Now, begin typing out a contact's first or last name, and their contact record will appear. Tap on it to call or sms them!

    No need to first launch the Contacts app.

    When I do that it the keyboard pops up alright, but it searches Google not my contacts.

    Works for me....

    also many people recommend "Task Manager", but what they dont say is that task manager MUST have an option to exclude applications needed for proper functionality. You cant just kill all tasks. I personally purchased "Advanced Task Manager" for $0.99. Works great, and comes with widget.

    Nice tip, very useful for my kind of job that I need to be calling different contacts on my phone book

    If you long press HOME key, you'll get a menu to switch between running apps
