    Rogers PAYG Scam!

I notice that everytime someone call me, Rogers counted it as 1 minute use.
even when i didnt pick up the phone.

and I tried to call my PAYGcell with my other phone, and it did indeed?!!

What's up with this? if I would have knows this I would not pay $100 and go with 711 instead.

    and

How do you setup the PAYG online, to be able to see the list of call transactions, I've set it up once and waited for a month, but no list of transaction is showing up on their website.

I have two Rogers "Pay As You Go" phones. I "registered" the account on -line and added the second number later. In each case, I am able to go to a list of calls & transactions and view all charges (debit & credit) against the phone number in question. Check the Rogers website. You should find the necessary info.

It's probably because you have voicemail and Rogers double charges
you for time that messages are left and time that you check them ...

So even if someone reaches your voicemail and hangs up, there is a
1 minute charge. Your only solution is to remove voicemail for good.

my PAYG number is registered with the online account, I just can;t see the transactions and list of calls. some says that I have to wait 10 days to be able to see the account transaction, and its been a month.

You do know that even on contract plans or month to month ones the minute starts when the ringing begins, and not when the other party picks up, right?

My brother who has pay as you go with Rogers if he receives a call and does not pickup it does not register as a minute.

    He also cancelled his vm.

When I activated my Rogers prepaid SIM/account about 1 year ago, I was warned about the double-charging for voice mail. The CSR was kind enough to tell me about it and suggested that I do like most people on Rogers prepaid which is to deactivate my voice mail and rely on my call display. This is what I did and I haven't seen any charges for calls that I don't pick up regardless of the number of rings.

Now you know how us Canadians feel

I don't have Voicemail activated, when people call me and I don't pick up, it doesn't count as a minute.
