    Google Voice (formerly GrandCentral)

Ever since Google announced the return of GrandCentral as Google Voice back in March, we've been chomping at the bit waiting for the beta to open up.

But Buzz Out Loud's Natali Del Conte may have just spilled the beans. She apparently told a caller on the 999th episode of the CNet podcast that a Google rep told her that June 18 was the day the rest of us finally get to play. She says it was originally supposed to launch in late may, and that if tomorrow doesn't hold true, it should still be sometime soon.

Google Snaps Up One Million Phone Numbers As Google Voice Launch Looms Large
By Jack Loftus, 10:00 AM on Sun Jun 21 2009, 5,154 views (Edit post, Set to draft, Slurp)
The chatter surrounding a Google Voice launch was downright feverish Thursday, prompting many to speculate the event was imminent. Details were sparse, and the launch didn't come, but Google is definitely ready to do something based on new info.

That info? How about one million newly reserved phone numbers with Level 3, the provider Google's been using in tandem with Voice since the beginning? Does that get your telecommunications itch scratched?

Well, it should, especially if you've been following all the great things we've been saying about the service since Chen got his hands on it earlier this year.

Further speculation says Google Voice might launch today, but Google isn't saying one way or the other. Visit the the site and hit refresh at your leisure.

Google Voice invites on their way
    6/25/2009 09:32:00 AM
A couple of months ago we announced Google Voice, a service that gives you one phone number to link all your phones and makes voicemail as easy as email. We are happy to share that Google Voice is beginning to open up beyond former GrandCentral users. If you requested an invitation on the Google Voice site or previously on GrandCentral, keep your eye out for an invite email.

Once you receive your invitation, just click on the link and follow the instructions to setup your new Voice account. To help you find a Google number that is personalized to you, we've added a number picker that lets you search by area code and text. See if you can find a number that contains your name, a specific word or a number combination.

    Buy GV Mobile app

Go in cydia and download backgrounder and siphon and setup a free Gizmo5 account that lets you have free unlimited incoming calls (with GV, all calls are "incoming" even if you are calling someone)

background Siphon + GV Mobile (optional - loads instantly so if you want to dial you can), Setup siphon with your gizmo5 info and turn on allow calls over 3g\edge
