Excellent! I'll give it a try... But I'm still at a loss about what's crippled with this phone and what can be re-enabled/improved; it's as if nobody bought this dang POS?

I am not sure, I am kind of a noob to this phone myself. So far, I really like the phone and I have been able to load my ringtones and pictures from my old phone on to it with out any problems. The newest version of bitpim recognizes the phone. I have only had it four three days now....

No, don't get me wrong; aside from the T9-Issue and some minor design annoyances; it's a decent phone. It's just that I don't see any dedicated threads completely breaking down the phone like my once heralded E815(m)... So all these little scattered bits and pieces of hackable info are hard to find; making the phone pretty much a unmoddable-brick to me.

    SMS using ENV3 with BitPim

Does anybody know if there any ways to get the sms from ENV3's on bitpim? I remember with either the ENV or the ENV2 you had to make sure your drafts folder was empty. When I try to get my SMS this error shows....

    BitPim version: 1.0.7-official

Thanks for the useful information. I am also having difficulty accessing the sms from my Env3 phone with Bitpim. I get the same error message that jannaleejoy experienced. Following your instrucitons for turning on the sms acces, when I get to "option 6" there are two radio buttons, "Off" and "On". "Off" is selected, but when I move to the "On" button I can't select it. Do you know how I can turn this "On"?
