Transferred my contacts with cellebrite from 6800 to the pre and all my contacts are saved as notes in the pre so that doesnt do *****.... i have to copy paste the number from the notes part to a "new number"

Yes you can import Outlook CSV file into gmail and then use the synergy sync to sync to gmail.

Go Contacts, Preferences & Accounts, Add Another Account and add the gmail account there. Then select Sync Now. You can also sync to Facebook and MS exchange.

Works perfectly

My issues:

Backlight bleed and a yellow spot right next to the charger
Extreme charging heat (even with the 1.02 update)
Craptacular battery life when instant messenger is running or I'm doing heavy browsing

Other than that I love it.

How do you sign off AIM while on the phone. the only way I have found is to sign on the PC and it will kick me off on the phone.

Open up the messaging app and hit "Buddies"
Click on "Available" and an icon with pop up with a sign off option.

Hi!

I'm trying to transfer my iCal and address book from my mac. I already did everything it ask me to do. (this is the 4th time now)

However, I only get few address and no iCal on my Pre. Every so often it will tell me it's ready to transfer, but nothing gets transferred.

Please help me?

It wasn't in the release notes, so I'm guessing the answer is no, but does 1.0.2 fix the AIM-draining-battery problem? I've put off doing anything with AIM or GTalk because of the known issue with those apps eating battery power like nobody's business.

A thing I noticed is that my phone will just automatically dial someone at times when I open the phone app. Also is there a way to sync with Entourage on a Mac?

syncing using a csv file from my phone to outlook to pre does the same thing. contact info is saved as a note not a number or email adress
