You'd have to take it up with customer service if you want to bump your NE2 up otherwise you'll have to wait until it's eligible to be used.

Pictures and Info from the Part 1 thread can be re-posted, but try to do it in one post, not spread out.

Can someone repost the pictures of this phone into one post? I really don't feel like searching through the 100+ pages in the other thread.

    FAQ:

VX11000 EnV Touch Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
    UPDATED: May 29, 2009.

Q: When is this phone coming out?
A: The official release date for the phone is June 5, 2009

Q: What is the retail price of the phone?
A: As of May 25, 2009 the phone is locked in at these prices:
    Full Retail: $409.99
    1-Year Contract: $319.99 before $70 mail-in rebate
    2-Year Contract: $219.99 before $70 mail-in rebate

Q: Can I use my New-Every-Two discount when purchasing the EnV Touch?
A: Yes, there is either a $100 discount or a $50 discount. Please check with Verizon regarding your own account information and whether you are eligible for the New-Every-Two discount at this time, or at the time of the phone’s release.

Q: Is there any way I can get the $70 mail-in rebate as an “instant” rebate?

A: Currently, the sure-fire way to get an instant discount is to purchase the phone online when it releases on June 5th. Some people on HowardForums have said to have had the $70 credited to their account. Please note that if you purchase this phone early, as of May 29, 2009 there is no guarantee of a $70 mail-in rebate. You will have to contact Verizon directly to sort this out. This is because the phone itself is not listed on any Verizon Wireless rebate forms at this point in time.

Q: Is there a Buy One Get One FREE deal with the EnV Touch?
A: At this time we cannot confirm that kind of a sale. When the phone releases there could be, but that is left up in Verizon’s hands at the moment, or until we get further proof of this kind of sale’s existence.

Q: Is this phone coming to Canada?
A: No one knows (or at least those higher-ups aren't releasing any information at this time ) Canada uses a different carrier than Verizon Wireless, so it just depends on when they want to carry it. With that said, nobody knows if and when it will be released in Canada at this point in time.

Q: How do I get this phone early???? I see people have gotten this phone early, and I keep calling Verizon telesales, they tell me the phone is not available yet or that it is going to be released June 5, how are people getting this phone early?
A: It really is pure luck and getting the right representative who will place your order. Some people have been able to order the phone the first time they call, while others have spent three days trying to call. You can try calling, and keep calling, but if that doesn’t work; rest assured! The phone is going to be released officially on June 5th.

Q: I just purchased another phone recently, but I would like this phone instead, is there any way I can exchange my current phone for the EnV Touch?
A: Yes. If the phone was purchased within the last 30 days, and if you are still under the 30 day warranty at the time of the EnV Touch’s release, you CAN exchange the phone and pay the price difference. There may also be a $35 restocking fee involved. Please check the Verizon store or website concerning phone exchanges for further information.

Q: I broke my phone/My phone was stolen. Is there any way I can replace my phone with the EnV Touch?

A: This involves talking to a Verizon representative either in store, online, or through telesales. At HowardForums a majority of us do not work for Verizon, so all we can say is through experience. We can say however that replacing a current phone with an LG EnV Touch will require some money, and most likely having to pay for the full retail price of the phone, or the 1-year contract price if you get a nice enough Verizon representative. Please contact Verizon Wireless via telesales, website, or in-store for further information on phone replacement.

Q: Why is this phone called the EnV Touch and not the Voyager 2?

A: LG was unable to get the rights for the name from Plantronics, Inc. A company which already has a copyright on the name Voyager. LG and Plantronics were unable to work out a deal, so the phone's name was changed officially to the EnV Touch.

Q: How is the size of the EnV Touch in comparison to the Voyager?
A: According to PhoneArena.com, here are the following specifications:
    The Voyager: 4.64 x 2.12 x 0.71 inches (118 x 54 x 18 mm)
    EnV Touch:4.52 x 2.16 x 0.66 inches (115 x 55 x 17 mm)

Q: How is the screen in comparison to the Voyager?
A: The screen is amazing! It is 3 inches, which is .2 inches bigger than the Voyager. The screen is still resistive (meaning you have to apply pressure in order for it to respond), but you do not need to apply a lot of pressure in order for it to work. LG definitely made a huge upgrade when fixing the screen.

Q: Is there a virtual on-screen qwerty keyboard in addition to the physical qwerty keyboard?
A: Yes. And while writing a text message you can flip the phone left horizontally and right horizontally and the qwerty will show up either direction.

Q: Is there an accelerometer and proximity sensor?
A: Yes, and yes. The accelerometer works on some games, and allows the outside of the screen to have a virtual qwerty keyboard. The proximity sensor allows the phone's screen to turn off while you are on a call and have the phone up to your ear.

Q: What size is the camera?
A: The camera is a 3.2MP Schneider-Kreuznach camera with flash built-in. It also has auto focus which is a huge bonus.

Q: How many text messages can the EnV Touch hold?
A: Approximately, you can have 200 text messages in the inbox, and 50 messages in the outbox. This number can also vary depending on how many picture messages you send and receive (as this makes the inbox/outbox count go up to accommodate for the pictures)

Q:What is the battery life of the phone?
This information was obtained from Phonearena.com:
4.33 hours (260 mins) of Talk time
    408 hours (17 days) of Stand-by time
Please keep in mind however that these numbers vary by what you use the phone for. The more you use it for different means, the shorter your battery life will be. This is the same case with any cell phone however..as well as having the sound on, and/or being in a low-reception area will also impact the battery life.

    Q:How is the call quality?
The quality of calls is very crisp. The phone does pick up some background noise, but so far it has improved over previous LG phone models.

How is the ringtone sound quality?
The sound is maybe just a smidge better than on the Voyager or the original EnV. The speakers are on the inside where the keyboard is so the sound is not as loud as it could be, but overall it is not too bad.

Q: Have those who already own the EnV Touch released pictures or videos of the phone in action?
A: Yes, below are links from previous posts with this information. Another good thing to wait for is the online reviews from phonearena, cnet, et al once the phone is actually released.
