    E71 Themes by tekhseven!

He's got new themes coming, Enterprise One is OUT. This thread will be for his own icons, not Touch ones!

I'm currently using the Enterprise One. Tehk7 truly is very good at what he does. Now I'm looking forward to a brighter Enterprise theme.
Thumbs up for his Seven icons.

    Hey HoFo,

Time to add more 3rd party apps!

I have received tons of e-mails, private messages, and comments in regards to adding more icons. Here is your chance to make it happen! Leave a comment on what icons you would want themed. After the ending date, I will count and tally the icons with the highest votes/suggestions.

Depending on how many suggestions there will be, I will choose a total of 7-10 icons to theme.

This will end Sunday, May 3st, at 11:59 P.M. Any suggestions and votes posted after that date will not be considered, sorry. I have to get re-releases and new themes out as soon as I can.

tehk, what is the reason opera mini can not have a custom icon? the default icon is brutal, but it's the only browser I can stand using! it really ruins my home screen, next to all of your pretty icons

    Hey Benny,
The reason why Opera Mini cannot be themed is because it is a Java app. Same goes for Gmail.

I can theme the icon, but it won't show up on the device.

    It really sucks

You can change the icon for java applications by unpacking the jar and replacing the MBM. Do this on your own, there are tutorials online - tekh doesn't have anything to do with it.

    ^^

It's stored in the JAR as i.png and it's 48x48. Easy to replace, re-pack and re-install. Or you can simply find the private\UID folder that Opera is stored in, there is an MBM than you can copy, edit and move back to change the icon.

Now, this may be because I've missed something, but is there any reason that these wouldn't work on the E71x? I've attempted to install various t7 themes to no avail, getting a "Unable to install" error every time. :\

I've already done that. It's not the certificate check that's failing. I can get past that. I can get past the screen where it'll tell me what it is, what version it is and all that. But I can't actually get it installed, an error that says "Unable to install" appears every time.
I've been successful in installing other themes and apps.
