Exclamation What happened to This Forum?

It is soo quiet in here I am worried, I am 6 months into owning HTC Diamond, ready to change phones, shocked to find very little activity, when is the Diamond 2 coming out? Any contenders?
    Where is everyone?

We're here! (Some of us, at least. ) I think the forum naturally ebbs and flows, it's just ebbing a bit more lately than it used to...

Many users are posting in the Windows Mobile Standard (Smartphone) forum by mistake. They get indignant when you bring it to their attention.

I'm working so much that I barely have time to visit the forum any longer. Twice the hours for 2/3 of the pay from a couple of years ago. I don't have the time or the money to change devices like my shirt any longer. Plus, since I got my tilt, everything just works. I'm not craving a feature jones'ing for the next big (smaller) phone.

I have just swithed back winmo from s60(although I still have one of them too) after a long absence. I am also a little shocked at how little activity there is here.
I guess the iphone, the pre, g1 and other smartphones have taken away some of winmo's thunder. I dont think it will get trendy again until wm7 comes out.

I thought it was just the lull before the CTIA storm next week. But still, you're right, usually there are predictions or wish lists popping up around this time.

I still believe we should combine both Windows Mobile forums into one.

As for myself, I've lost a lot of interest in WinMo-oriented forums since lately people seem mostly obsessed with the latest touchy-feely, wannabe-an-iPhone user interfaces, something I can't care less about.

i posted this very question in the wmlounge. i think alot of people have left for other boards. the hofo boards are not as helpful as they use to be, plus i think its just winmo is pretty stale right now, 6.5 isnt that and we wont til 7 til 2010

I'll tell you exactly what happened.

HTC doesn't include U.S. 3G bands on their phones anymore so the buzz isn't there. For me anyway.

    F' HTC!

I can't tell you how bad I want a Touch HD with 3G in the U.S.

I just finished moving to Los Angeles so as of now, I'm barely even on the forums. Once I get settled down tho, I'll be back to my craziness on here.
From the HTC Magician to the One X, I'm one of the HTC OG's.

Got tired of WM and the next generation stuff including 6.5 doesn't excite me. Moved ok to the iPhone and love it(so far).

That's exactly what I was thinking. Truth is there are so many great WM phones coming out and new software that I can't even keep up anymore. I don't have 3G where I live so it doesn't really affect me negatively.

I'm present, happy and not planning on going anywhere anytime soon. I still check in at least once a day and still love this place.

@juice, what about buying a Telstra version of the HD off ebay? Pricey but I hear it has 850 3G band...
