I've been dying to see one of the really skilled guys from back in the day (like the guys responsible for the examples above) do a series of Falcon+ mods. I was never a huge fan of the disco LEDs all over everything, but can you imagine how sweet a modded 880 would look, with superclear casing and a souped-up PTT and Moto LED?

I've been thinking a lot about those old-school clear phone casings recently -- and how much I loved being able to see phone guts.

I don't know what ever happened to my cleared out i730. I must have sold it on ebay or something.

Yeah I miss old Nextel, if the original company had stayed intact they might still be a force in the market. Ever since Sprint bought them they have gone to crap and I only know like 3 people who still have Nextel handsets.

This is a awesome blast from the past. I remember using my i95 one night on the freeway, and cars moing out of the way thinking I was a emergency vehicle w/o my siren on. AAH the good ol days. No problems, Very Reliable, and people wishing they had NEXTEL. Thanks for the memories.

Anyone on here remember the Nextel forums circa 2003? I remember some good times/discussions on here. I sold my modded i90c years and years ago. What a great phone that was.
    i have too many phones.
