Touch Cruise GPRS Internet Connection

Hi

Other than the WiFi Internet connection option I'm also using the GPRS option to connect up to the Internet. I am using the SPB GPRS Monitor programme to monitor connections.

After I have surfed the Internet and close the GPRS connection it can be a few minutes later that I find the the GPRS has opened up again. I am forever cancelling the GPRS connection and it keeps on opening up again.

Is there any way to configure the OS that the GPRS connection ONLY on my command ie manually?

Would appreciate your input. It's my first month using GPRS and I think my phone bill is going to be enormous.

hi all is it possible to share my hTC touch cruise GPRS Internet on my iPod touch over wifi....I mean can I use my htc touch as a wifi router so that my iPod can connect to it over wifi and browse net....
