We are talking about settings for the Samsung SCH-R450. You should do a search to find a page with your phone. The settings for this phone are not the same.

I know with my cricket R450 that you can use the contact backup service, there is a nice web interface, and whenever you switch phones, just download the app onto that phone and walla all the contacts get moved over. It also backups once a week so you aren't totally screwed when you loose/break the phone.

Yah, MetroPCS doesn't let you download something from the web unless they make money off you first. Then maybe if the moon and stars line up just right will you get it.

if your talking about the 6 digit security code for your account, it should be your birthday: example: January 01, 2001= 010101

When you go to settings *. You can enter either the 587846 number for basic phone programming, or the unlock code I explained earlier to get to the advanced menu.

BTW I filed a trouble ticket with MetroPCS customer service for my non-working web, they should be calling me in a day or two.
