There's nothing secretive about today theme i bet you. It's just not made available for public yet. This guy probably works with some telco company.

Well I swore by the today theme when I had my 8310. Can't wait for the Bold release.

Clearly someone with the new kit to make themes for the Bold has asked Moderator HF7 to do a little beta testing. But because the theme kit is not officially released yet, no themes created with it can be released either. He's only testing it to see if there are any glitches or problems with these themes and the new Plazmic kit. I'm sure that the minute it's officially available there will be a wave of new Bold themes.

I'd really like a change to the today theme though. Separate the SMS from the messages section, get rid of the phone section and expand on the other sections with the added space.

One thing that I like about the the Today theme on 4.6 OS is that all day events now display on the homescreen where with previous OS versions it didn't. I hope it stays this way and doesn't change.

Problem with that is that you are still limited to 2 calendar entries. If you havve 2 all day events, you won't see any other appointment.

Try PocketDay, not as sexy but will do everything you want and more. Can display as many appointments as you want, looking forward for a number of days.

ok. this lack of a good Today theme being available is the single, biggest problem with the Bold right now. I've already missed 2 meetings and just barely made it in time for a 3rd because of a combination of crappy calendar display and lack of the Today theme.

I'm pretty much to the point of returning it and getting a new Tilt.

I know that a good today theme is nice but have you ever heard of setting alarm reminders for the meetings? Lol.

Umm yeah, do you know how assinine that sounds? Of course I set reminders.

I also have a laptop. But I don't always have time to boot up the laptop, log into the VPN, and load up Lotus Notes to check what I am doing that day. Like this morning, I had to decide to take a last minute appointment just before going into the office. While waiting in the waiting room, I get a call..yada yada, yada. And then I had to enter in a reminder later and that was when I saw I had an 11am meeting. And it was already 10:13am! The alarm was set for 30 mins before (i.e. 10:30am). There's no way I would have made it from downtown to Markham in 30 mins.

Gah. With a proper Today theme I wouldn't have to drill down through the bloody calendar each time.
