Cruve: How to separate folders for various email accounts

Hi I just got the curve recently and have been searching the forum for a solution to the following problem:

How do I separate the various different email accounts and text messages. At present the blackberry combines everything under messages!

The only solution that I have read about is getting a theme that separates various accounts...but have not been able to locate such a theme.

Does any one know of a fix for separating various email account and text?

    Thanks

To separate your messages/sms do the following:

    -go to messages
    -press the menu button
    -scroll down to options
    -go to general options
-look for the field that reads SMS and Email Inboxes
-by default it should read Theme Controlled, change the option to Separate.

    Awesome! Thanks.

Just one question if I was to add a new email account - say gmail - would that be a new window or mixed messages?

all email accounts will have seperate email boxes for sorting and sending from but all email still goes into the main box

You can always D/L the Gmail App - it would be totally seperate from you BB mail and work / look 100% better IMO

You should get an icon for each integrated email account. If you don't use PIN messaging you can then separate SMS/MMS and then just hide Messages.

I also tried the gmail app, it seemed quite slow compared to the standard email on the bb. Whenever I send or receive an email I get an alert in the gmail in box and in my message box. Can they be made separate? why do I get an email when I send?

    Message for sms and mms
    Email for gmail ????

    thank you

you get a message on both because the gmail app doesnt communicate with RIMs servers. you would need to disassociate your gmail account from BIS in order to stop it being pushed to the bb.
