    Your TOP 5 apps?

What are your 5 favorite apps so far?

    Here is my list

5 NY Times/AP Mobile News Network - Both do the same thing, provide you with up-tp-date news.

    4 Crash Bandicoot Nirto Kart

3 Splash ID - Great app for saving important account numbers and passwords.

2 MotionX by Fullpower Poker Dice Game.

1 Pandora - This is a great app. I used it going to the Apple store today to look at cases. The drive was about 30 miles and it played with out missing a beat the whole drive.

    1. Pandora- Amazing application, I'm in an EDGE-only network and it's been working great all morning. Unfortunately after listening to it from 12:00-4:15 it drained the battery down to 20% but that's to be expect, I suppose. It's let me hear some artists that I had never heard of before.

    2. Myspace/Facebook apps- I'm not one of those people who have to be on Myspace 24/7, but alot of my friends keep in touch with me that way, so it's nice to be able to have a nice UI to just go and check my messages and view any new pictures they had uploaded. Same goes for Facebook.

    3. South Park Imaginationland- I wouldn't really say it's worth the $9.99, but it's kept me entertained for the past couple of days, and I still have a bunch of levels to go- excellent time waster with nice graphics.

    4. Ebay- I'm at work generally 60 hours a week and work blocks ebay, so it's very nice to be able to find something I want/need in a hurry and in a decent UI to boot.

    5. Shazam- Nice little program that has helped me remember "Oh yeah, that's who sings that". Wouldn't pay for it, but for free it's a no-brainer.

HONORABLE MENTION: App store in general. It looks very promising- definitely brought some much-needed life into my old iPhone (even though I have 3G iPhone now, it still reaffirmed my faith in its ability to stay with me for a while longer). I'm looking forward to more games coming out soon--and hopefully the market will shrink in price because I have played the majority of the games in App store (my friends ridiculously rich and bought all of them)
none of them are worth $9.99 IMHO.

    Top 5 location based apps:

    Loopt
    Yelp
UrbanSpoon (more of a "metro" area, than your exact street corner ... but way fun!)
    SmugShot
Exposure (Flickr shots geotagged as from your location)

Only downloaded three games so far - Monkey Ball, Enigmo, and Texas Hold 'em. They're all fine for the price.

well so far the ones i use the most are

    1. Sportstap (also put an icon on my screen for the mobile espn & use both pretty frequently)

    2. AIM (not overly awesome, but does a decent job for me)

    3. Ebay (works well)

    4. Box Office (will get alot of use out of this in the coming weeks when work slows back down, at the movies almost twice a week, if there are good movies to be seen)

    5. Weather Bug (gives more in depth look at the weather)

Box Office did not list all the theaters in my area. I ended up with Movie.app which works well.

1 (by far) - Bloomberg. I am a regular investor on the side, and this program blew my mind.

    2 - NY Times

    3 - Weatherbug

    4 - Box Office

    5 - PayPal

Is Pandora an actual radio tuner? I read the description and it talks about "creating stations" around artists you like. What's that about?
Do or do not; there is no try.

Pandora rocks. You select an artist you like and it will find songs in the same style. You can also rate a song thumbs up or down so that it has a better chance to find songs you like.

I have no clue how it works. I know it draws the music from the 'net and it gets music you like based on the artist you choose.

    I.E.

I chose Whitechapel---so when I go to the whitechapel channel it plays artists like Whitechapel and there's an option to see "Why is this artist playing"

    I.E.

"BELAY MY LAST- MISS AMERICA" <--song

We're playing this track because it features hard rock roots, varying tempo and time signatures, paired vocal harmony, extensive vamping, minor key tonality, a vocal-centric aesthetic, dirty electric guitar riffs, an unitelligible vocal delivery, vocal duets, prominent drums, offensive lyrics and many other simmilarities identified in the Music Genome Project.

    It's amazing. Bottom line.

    1. WeatherBug - Much more useful than the weather app

    2. Facebook - Connects me to the world.

    3. Cube Runner - Too addicting

    4. zintin - such a cool app!

    5. Pandora / AOL Radio - Both so good.

    Honorable Mention: Shazam
