I have flashed my TREO 755 to Metro PCS and it drops calls all the time. Does anyone know what the problem could be? Please advise

Craigslist search Flash Metropcs, I'd buy unlocked iphone and use T-Mobile

You'll find someone there that'll do it there for around $90 (including the $40 that goes to Metro). Metro will not flash smartphones. I do not recommend it because as of now (unless they have a new firmware to flash) you cannot browse the internet or send MMS (picture messages) and mine sucks because when I'm on the road, it doesn't switch towers well and disconnects every 5-10 minutes (worked fine with Sprint before the flash). Maybe the guy who flashed mine didn't know what he was doing, but I have heard of a lot of complaints about flashed 755p having signal issues. Plus the phone reboots all the time (it's not a software installed because I did a hard reset without installing anything and it does the same). My suggestion, buy an Iphone from ebay, jailbreak / unlock it (google it you can do it yourself it's easy) and use it with T-mobile. That's what I'm going to do. My 755p flashed metro phone experience has been a nightmare and I regret ever doing it

:^/ Check my signature for a tutorial on getting Cricket Internet working on the 755p, and substitute Metro's details for the Cricket ones.

Service Name = MetroPCS (or whatever you like)

The browser's home page should be: http://wap.metropcs.net

The proxy server should be: wap.metropcs.net

    The port should be: 3128

:^/ Be careful not to include the http: part for the proxy; the Tréo already adds that part, so if you specify it too, the Tréo will try to connect to http://http://wap.metrocpcs.net, which won't work.

Also, Cricket doesn't use a mobile IP address system, but I'm unsure whether Metro uses a moblie IP system or not. Try testing it both ways to be sure.
