    VOIP advice

Assuming I get an unlimited internet feature on a (German) carrier's plan, what are the issues and restrictions for using VOIP on it. I don't not yet have a carrier, so I would really like to know about all carriers. Probable device would be using Windows Mobile OS.

Is there a better forum for this question? Seems I have to pick a specific carrier and then ask the question.

yes, pick a specific carrier or phone and then ask questions. more than one GSM phone will support VoIP, more than one GSM carrier offers data services. you need to be more specific if you want information or suggestions.

Alright, lets stay with O2. I cannot find any wi-fi option, so I assume there is none. The best data option I find is Internet-Pack-L, costing 25 euros/month for 5000MB of data. I don't know how much I would need for VOIP, but I suppose that might support a few calls plus some web surfing. Is there a better approach? Is VOIP allowed?

I would be using a Windows Mobile handset, probably XDA or later model. My current experiences with VOIP have used Skype and Netr2phone software, but on laptop computers, not a Windows Mobile device.
