    watching opening day (official since the ESPN guys said the jap ones dont count and it has to be in the US), washington vs braves. Glad baseball is back = summer!

    matsuzaka doesnt have his control, and phil hughes is just plain terrible. Ugh.

    Tonight should be good, Beckett vs. Mussina. Moose somehow always pitches well against the Sox.

    I don't want to monopolize this thread as a Yankees-Red Sox thread, so I'll also give a shout-out to the D'Backs for being ridiculously good. I was listening to Peter Gammons on Mike Tirico's ESPN radio show, and he said that the D'Backs have the second youngest lineup in the NL. They are a dangerous team, and if they pay their players we're talking potential dynasty in the making.

    Gammons is actually on Tirico's show every Thursday afternoon if you guys want to listen in, too. He's a deserved Hall of Famer, he knows his stuff.
