    Antenna Removal on a I850

I have a co worker that had her antenna chewed up by a dog and I got a replacement in today. How in the world do you change a antenna on a I850?

    Thanks in advance

look at the top left of the back of the phone, you will see a little circular cut - out at the base of the antenna. you need to pry it out, (we use a very small flat head screw driver to remove it, its held on by some sort of glue) ,and then you will see a tiny gold screw, i think its a T-2 torx screw.unscrew and remove.

I use a needle to remove the screw cover, but if I am not mistaken it is a T4. Sometimes the dog chews more than the antenna and the base is damaged in which case you need the rear housing.

That's exactly what happened to my i850. The dog chewed it up. I ordered a new antenae from e-bay and couldn't figure out how to replace it. Thanks, I'll try removing the screw cover.
