Here is my visual interpretation of the changes in AT&T coverage maps dated 7/9/2010 to 8/6/2010. If you find anything I missed or a location I misrepresented please correct me.

ALABAMA – More EDGE coverage added along US 84 in western AL; EDGE site added along US 431 in Henry County. EDGE sites added in rural Wilcox County.

COLORADO – 3G added in Nederland.

FLORIDA – 3G expanded along west side of I-75/Everglades Pkwy and Immokalee. 3G added in Mexico Beach, Apalachicola, and other coastal areas of Gulf and Franklin Counties. 3G site also added in northern Bay County.

ILLINOIS – 3G added in Marion and Carbondale.

INDIANA – 3G added in Jasper.

KANSAS – All of old western KS Unicel/Verizon is now native EDGE. We all pretty much knew that one by now. 3G added in Manhattan.

MARYLAND – 3G added along US 219 in western MD.

MISSOURI – 3G expanded west of Columbia along I-70.

NEW YORK – 3G coverage expanded around Hector in central NY.

OKLAHOMA – 3G now continuous along I-35 from Texas to north of OKC. 3G continuous along I-44 from Wichita Falls to Tulsa.

OREGON – EDGE site added in Beatty.

PENNSYLVANIA – 3G expanded west of York along US 30; 3G added in Pottsville. 3G expanded along I-80 including Buckhorn, Mechanicsville, and Mifflinville.

SOUTH CAROLINA – 3G expanded along US 76 north of Anderson. 3G added in Greenwood.

TENNESSEE – 3G expanded north along I-75 from Chattanooga to Sweetwater.

WASHINGTON – 3G added in Aberdeen and east along US 12.

I stand corrected - there were some updates to the west coast

850 MHz was launched in the Mount Pleasant, MI area. You can see that the coverage extends out a bit further than before. I heard Grand Rapids also got a few more 3G sites, but I'm not sure if it's really that apparent.

It's about dang time! Makes that town at least a tiny bit more tolerable. Being that most of you don't live in Kansas, you probably won't get that. Lol

Map update - 8/20. Nothing notable on the west coast. Possibly a bit of 3G expansion around Bend, OR

I just spent two days in Crescent City working, and I can say with authority that NO new 3G has been added on Hwy.101 between Redwood Valley and Crescent City, a distance of 234 miles That song, "Tomorrow" from Annie comes to mind, only tomorrow has lasted years

Edit-I understand that AT&T has applied to change out some panels on a site in downtown Willits, I am hoping that means they are going to be putting some 3G Panels up, FINALLY. That site is owned and operated by both the Northwestern Pacific Railroad and California Western (Skunk Train) Railroad for their Radio's, AT&T leases space on it.

Look for something like these things (this is Ericsson gear) close to the panels if its going to be 3G

I was about to say that I think Northwestern Ontario (TBayTel/Rogers) might be ahead of AT&T/T-Mobile in your area for getting 3G.
Of course - they have only 1x right now, and will be going to HSPA (+?)

    Maps now showing 9/10.
No noticeable changes on the western states (CA/OR/WA) that I can see.
I would have expected some 3G along I-5 (NorCal) or I-15/I-40 between CA and NV.

Looks like the gap around Oshkosh has been filled.

Well for whatever reason, http://wireless.att.com is all messed up. (it redirects to that page)

I heard there is some expansion in the New England area... too bad I can't see for myself. =[

Hmm.. in IE8 it's all okay.

EDIT: Yah know what, forget it.

It looks like the style sheet is missing. Have you tried holding shift and clicking Reload? That will reload all page resources from the server (as opposed to using cache). If that does not fix it, then it is likely that they have mistaken neglected to upload a CSS file for the site or pointed the site to the wrong URL for its style sheet(s).

    US Hwy's 101, 199, 395, 97, and CA Hwy's 20, 29, 53, 1, 3, 128, 162, 175, 36, 44, 299, 70 and 89 are all in DIRE need of 3G expansion by AT&T in NorCal, this is beginning to get OLD AT&T! Most all of that has 3G coverage from Verizon and/or U.S. Cellular, AT&T, you're lagging bad.

Don't forget that there are bigger/higher traffic areas that north-west Cal that could use 3G and don't have it:

CA Specific (low population - high traffic)
    I-8
    I-15 (east of Barstow)
    I-40 (east of Barstow)
I-5 (Woodland to Orgeon border - exception of Redding)
    CA-395 (SoCal to NorCal)

Those areas in NorCal that you listed are lower traffic, but in some areas higher population.

On a good note, I do see a 3G coverage 'dot' in El Centro, CA.

definitely expansion in northwest connecticut (litchfield county). looks like route 44 in winchester & canaan. (left out the upgrading the cell site in norfolk to 3g though. not continuess coverage between the 2 towns.just like between new hartford & winchester). route 202 in new milford to litchfield looks continuess.
